LABORATORY GAS PIPELINE
Analytical Laboratories require gases like nitrogen, zero air, hydrogen, helium and argon for their GCs,
ICPs Mass Spec amongst other equipment.
These gas cylinders can be put inside the laboratories but
we strongly advice our clients against this due to safety conserns. Ideally gas cylinders are supposed
to be kept outside the lab and a specific pipeline run from the cylinder source to the desired equipment.
A cylinder regulator is connected to the outlet valve to reduce the filled pressure to an intermediate
value then a point of use panel inside the laboratory does the final pressure reduction into the equipment.
Some of these analytical gases can be supplied from a generator eg, nitrogen, zero air and hydrogen.
We can also implement a hybrid system that has both gas cylinders and generators feeding the entire gas pipeline system.
In this setup the electrically driven generators act as the primary supply and the cylinders are used as back ups.
At Sigmagas & Engineering, we provide the full scope of analytical gas requirements from cylinders, pipeline, regulators,
POU panels, generators and an after sales service for all these equipment.
